To create food worthy of honest and respectful followers, you need a fitting and honorable name. AATU, meaning “noble wolf”, is a Finnish word from a country famous for its wolves. Dogs and wolves evolved from common ancestors 11,000–34,000 years ago. Mother Nature created dogs and wolves as predators that obtain the energy they need mainly from meat proteins. However, research has shown that the key factor that determined the domestication of dogs was their ability to easily digest carbohydrates and starch. That may be true, but we at Pet Food UK believe in happy nutrition and fully understand that there is no single food that suits all dogs. This is the main reason AATU was created – a specific and unique 80/20 diet for dogs that want a more meat-rich diet, enriched with fruits, herbs and plant extracts. AATU with duck is the first single-protein-source 80/20 diet with no less than 50% freshly prepared duck with no preservatives. AATU is so highly concentrated that we use 2.5 kg of ingredients to make 1 kg of food that is free from grains, white potatoes and gluten (substances that can cause allergies).

“You are what you eat” – feeding guidelines: although AATU is a highly concentrated food and you will need less of it, our table is only a guide. We know that every dog is unique, as is the family it lives in. Other factors, including age, activity, metabolism and season, can affect nutrition. Please check with your veterinarian whether your dog is at an appropriate weight. Even if your pet wants to devour the whole bag, we strongly recommend replacing 25% of the old food with this food every other day until you have fully (100%) switched to AATU. The animal must always have access to clean water. Store closed and sealed, in a cool, dry place.
